Next friday, 28th of september, you can find me at MEETmeTONIGHT, event promoted by Politecnico di Milano, Università degli Studi di Milano and Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, with many other universities and institutional authorities from Lombardia, in order to take part to european project called Researcher’s Night.

This huge event dedicates a whole day and night to researchers: out of their known and usual academic contexts, everyone will show his own research and its “human” side, testing some sporting and artistic activities and explaining to an audience of adults and children how Research is not abstract but a fascinating and useful job.

With Laura Galluzzo, my collegue at INDACO department, we will present the activity “Feel Like Home” in the Porta Venezia’s gardens (Giardini Indro Montanelli/MM Porta Venezia-Palestro) with a stand dedicated to our researches. We will run a sort of game, that reminds the workshop I’ve already did in London last april, in order to show our topics, to understand visitors views on “temporary living” and “temporary hospitality”, to involve people’s needs in our projects.

What: “Feel Like Home” workshop
When: 28 september 2012, from 15.00 to 22.00
Where: Giardini Indro Montanelli, Porta Venezia

Milan will host lot of other playful events, transforming the city in a educational walk along the research world. You’ll find interesting events and activities in Festa del Perdono (headquarters of the Università degli Studi di Milano), at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, in Piazza Città Lombardia, at the Palazzo della Regione and the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia.
